I am sure that all of you who are involved with flotation circuits will welcome Outotec's free guide to flotation modernisation.
The efficiency of process equipment is a critical factor in maximizing operational profitability. If you are operating aging equipment you face a difficult choice between investing significant capital in new equipment or modernizing your existing equipment. Outotec's comprehensive range of tailored modernization packages bring measurable value across the three key areas of flotation:
Product recovery – flotation upgrades that increase bubble-particle interactions and produce higher froth recoveries.
Plant availability – design improvements that employ more durable materials and which make maintenance easier and more cost-efficient.
Operational costs – technology improvements that improve the energy efficiency of your process.

Bary,
ReplyDeleteI am very happy that you have brought this out. I must compliment Outotec for putting together some simple facts on flotation and for making it available to public. It is indeed a service to the profession. Students, Teachers and Professional would greatly benefit; a good guide on how to look a process in a simple way to understand the important aspects.
I remember those days when equipment manufacturers used to make a lot of important information freely available and again thanks to Outotec, a bridge is getting built between practice and theory.

Thank you for the feedback and we are delighted to hear that the guidebook is found to be useful in the industry.
ReplyDeleteWe hope that you have noticed the webinar series on improving flotation performance that are ongoing now for next upcoming months. All presenters in the webinar have extensive firsthand experience from sites where they have continuously supported and developed processes that improve the overall performance and usability of flotation plant and auxiliary equipment.
