MEI's two major conferences are separated by only 5 months, and although almost two years away they have both got off to fine starts with major corporate sponsors already signed up.
Both these conferences are now well established on the international calendar and are noted for highlighting innovations that are taking place in these areas. As in previous years they will be held at the Vineyard Hotel, in Cape Town's leafy suburb of Cape Town, with its fabulous views of Table Mountain and Devil's Peak.

Already on board for Flotation '17 are Axis House, Maelgwyn Mineral Services and FLSmidth, with media partners International Mining and Mining Prospectus.
Comminution '16 finished only two weeks ago, but already we have confirmed support for Comminution '18 from Magotteaux, Keramos, Russell Mineral Equipment, Starkey & Associates and Grinding Solutions Ltd, with media partner International Mining and industry advocate CEEC.
So over the coming months we will be developing what I am sure will be fine technical programmes once more, and inviting some of the top players to deliver keynote lectures. As flotation performance is greatly affected by comminution, particularly in respect of the method of grinding and the type of media, it is hoped that those who regularly attend one of these conferences might be tempted to sample both.
