Barbara and I arrived in Cape Town yesterday mid-day and despite the trials and tribulations of getting to Heathrow (yesterday's posting) the 6300 miles between Falmouth and Cape Town took 23 hours, which included over 3 hours in the BA Lounge for a meal and a few glasses of wine. So we can't really complain- our ancestors would be incredulous!
Amanda and Jon arrived today, from Cornwall and Luxembourg respectively, and this evening we got together for a meal at, where else, the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, in preparation for tomorrow, Flotation '23 our biggest conference ever! An interesting week lies ahead.
