A warm welcome to Flotation '23

A warm and sunny day in Cape Town welcomed Flotation '23 delegates as they arrived at the Vineyard Hotel in Claremont. The morning was a time for preparation for us and the teams from the hotel and the exhibition company. For others a time to settle in and take advantage of the stunning Vineyard gardens.

As a prelude to Prof. Graeme Jameson's keynote lecture tomorrow, Glencore Technology ran a late afternoon workshop providing a performance and innovations update of the Jameson Cell. Presented by Glencore Technology's Ryan Jones, the workshop was attended by around 25 conference delegates.

And then in the evening we welcomed all the early arrivals to pre-registration and welcoming drinks and canapes with accompaniment from a local Marimba band.
