It was good to have two top representatives from
Eriez down in deepest Cornwall yesterday.
John Curwen, Managing Director of
Eriez Magnetics Europe, and
Mike Mankosa, Executive Vice President-Global Technology, USA, were here to discuss the deployment of Eriez flotation cells in the laboratories of
Comminution '18 sponsor
Grinding Solutions Ltd.
John was in Cornwall last year for
Physical Separation '17, but this was Mike's first visit to the county. Mike and I catch up each year at
SME Annual Meetings, where he represents the
Eriez Flotation Division. He is the inventor of Eriez's
HydroFloat Cell and the
StackCell, both of which were featured at
Flotation '17.

I would like to thank John and Mike for their hospitality last night, when I was their guest for dinner at one of Falmouth's finest restaurants,
The Cove, overlooking Maenporth beach.

Good to known that John and Mike were at the Conference; I can see many novel features in their flotation system.
ReplyDeleteEriez's contribution to our profession is immense.
Satish, the M.D.of Eriez in India keeps the flag fling high; his interactions with R&D and academic community and support to activities like these conferences have to be commended. I hope more manufacturers take such interest.
