The Norman Lotter Symposium

As reported on November 2nd, Dr. Norman Lotter, of Flowsheets Metallurgical Consulting Inc., Canada, was honoured last month with the Fray Award for his contributions to Mineral Processing. The presentation was made at the SIPS 2017 conference in Cancun, Mexico, which included a symposium in his honour.
Norman was supported in the symposium by John Starkey, of Starkey and Associates, Canada, and Kristian Waters, of McGill University, Canada, who canvassed relevant papers for the technical session (in 2016 John was awarded the Fray award recognising his contributions to SAG mill design).
