Mineral processors from around the globe will descend on Quebec City during the next few days, in readiness for next week's International Mineral Processing Congress (IMPC).
Having spent the last few days exploring the old quarter of Quebec City, I am sure that delegates will agree that this venue was a wise choice. Although fairly young by European standards, the old city is beautiful and historically interesting and its narrow streets contain an amazing number of good, if expensive, restaurants.
Amanda, Jon and Kathryn arrive on Saturday, and we will be present at our booth, #402, on Sunday evening, and on Monday and Tuesday, which, rather disappointingly, are the only two full days of the exhibition. We hope to catch up with you there.
Next Thursday morning I will report on the previous night's dinner, where the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented, and on September19th will publish my full Congress report and photos.
Hope to see you in Quebec.
