In February 1989 I spent 2 weeks visiting the Indian School of Mines in Dhanbad. In this picture I am with final year mineral processing students and Prof. T.C. Rao.
I would love to know if any of the students in this photograph can be identified, as I am sure that I will have met up with a few of them at various conference since.

I am delighted to see the photograph of two eminent personalities along with the budding mineral engineers of mineral engineering fraternity at ISM, Dhanbad in the MEI blog. In this photograph, I could recognise few of them namely Mr A Janakiram, Mr. JVSN Murthy along with Prof. T. C. Rao and Dr. B. A. Wills. It is a really astonishing that after two decades Dr. Wills recapitulating his unforgettable memories/interaction with Indian mineral engineering fraternity especially under able wings of Prof. T.C. Rao. With this type of retrieving the old memories of belongingness of fraternity will energized us, despite having the vast distance between the continents. It is one of the great momens for the Mineral Engineering Society, India.
ReplyDeleteI expect, we should have similar memories of the same during IMPC 2012 at
New Delhi, India.
