Strengthening the links between the leading journals

Dean Eastbury is Elsevier's Executive Publishing Manager for the three leading journals in our field, Minerals Engineering, International Journal of Mineral Processing (IJMP) and Hydrometallurgy. Last week, during the SRCR '14 conference, we met up at the MEI Office, with IJMP's newly appointed editor Prof. Mauricio Torem, to discuss how we can cooperate to ensure that Minerals Engineering and IJMP continue to maintain their status as the world's leading mineral processing journals.

Mauricio has been to around a dozen MEI Conferences, many in Falmouth, a town that he has grown to love. He and his wife Ana are staying on for a few days, and today we had the pleasure of showing them the beautiful Lizard peninsula.
