Two week's ago MEI's first face to face conference in three years, Process Mineralogy '22, was held in Spain and it was really special to shake off the shackles of online events and to be back to interacting with delegates on a truly personal level.
Comminution '23 will be our next event, in Cape Town in April, and we have already received a record number of abstracts for this, and the exhibition is already sold out, so it is obvious that people are itching to get back together again after the long interlude of staring at screens.
So we are really looking forward to being back in Falmouth next June for Biomining '23 and Sustainable Minerals '23, one year after Sustainable Minerals '22 and two after Biomining '21, both online events.
Biomining '23 and Sustainable Minerals '23 will be held back to back at the National Maritime Museum, the venue for our last Falmouth conference, Physical Separation '19.

There are now calls for abstracts for the two conferences, and abstracts should be submitted via the portals on the respective websites. There will also be a small exhibition at each conference, so if you would like to exhibit contact us soon, as there will only be space for six booths. Details are on the websites, as are sponsorship details.
We look forward to seeing you in Falmouth next year! Regular updates will posted at #Biomining23 and #SustainableMinerals23.
Looking forward to convivial company once more at Falmouth's famous Chain Locker |
