Delegates at Physical Separation '09 |
Those wishing to present papers should submit short abstracts no later than the end of this month. As with all MEI Conferences, papers will be considered for special issues of Minerals Engineering.
Computational Modelling '11 is sponsored by the UK company DEM Solutions. The previous two Computational Modelling conferences were held in Cape Town, and the previous Physical Separation conference was in Falmouth in 2009.
Computational Modelling is a great conference for getting modelling people together with people who have interesting real world problems to solve! If you fall into either of these categories I really encourage you to attend.
ReplyDeleteHi Barry, we make some visualization software (EnSight) that works for SPH and DEM codes like EDEM as well as for CFD and FEA codes. Can you comment on what the audience is like for this conference, how many people, are they code developers or users of the codes? Besides EDEM are there other commercial DEM codes in use by this body of people? Thanks. Darin

Hi Darin, it's too early to say who will be there, but the conference is sponsored by DEM Solutions. You might get some idea of the audience and programme by looking at the last conference, Comp. Modelling '08 at http://www.min-eng.com/modelling08/prog.html
