Last night's conference dinner was held at Moyos in the Cape Town Waterfront.
This is a recently opened restaurant and the first time that MEI had used it as a dinner venue.
To be honest, we found it disappointing, but I would be interested to know what delegates thought of last night's event.
I think it was a good night and a lot of people stayed around the waterfront area after. It was a little noisy but something different none the less.
ReplyDeleteI agree Jon. We had a great time, but I was a little disappointed with Moyos, which did not have the atmosphere and entertainment of previous venues, particularly the Gold Restaurant. Unfortunately venues for our group size are few and far between in Cape Town, but we keep looking!
DeleteKoos Koos, Rice, Lamb chops, Moose and 4 chaps in braces singing! I think that sums up the current state of our Mining Industry! I LOVED my evening with the Finns, Indians and Iranians! I should have taken a video of Prof Finch dancing he had the Biggest smile on his face!

I enjoyed it too! Could have done with a few more vegetables and it was very noisy, but the wine flowed so I was happy :)
