It was great interacting with the delegates and spending time with them and catching up with some that I hadn't seen in many years. The papers were interesting and high quality. Cape Town is a wonderful venue with so many things to see and do. Many great memories!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908362959739425575.post-86912400412424287112013-01-07T15:58:12.622+00:002013-01-07T15:58:12.622+00:00This intimate conference was excellent, smoothly r...This intimate conference was excellent, smoothly run as always by Barry and his team with a good range of papers covering most aspects of nickel processing of both laterites and sulphides. The venue was first-rate and the conference set aside the right amount of time to meet and have discussions with fellow delegates.
Looking forward to Falmouth in a couple of years, in whatever form the nickel conference takes in the future.
Thanks again to Barry, Amanda, Jon and Barbara and a Happy 2013 to all.
Anne Oxleynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908362959739425575.post-15478625288802770262013-01-03T06:09:54.303+00:002013-01-03T06:09:54.303+00:00I had a fantastic experience during Nickel Process...I had a fantastic experience during Nickel Processing '12 conference. It was well organised and run very smoothly. The venue of the Conference, as well as the reception of various foods deserve a great praise! Thanks so much to the staff of MEI, Barry Wills, Jon Wills, and Amanda, etc. All the best!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13816264697020428095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908362959739425575.post-72056859222092084782012-12-20T22:25:15.433+00:002012-12-20T22:25:15.433+00:00This truly international conference was an intimat...This truly international conference was an intimate event where there was a real opportunity to get to know all of the delegates. The conference covered a wide spectrum of nickel processes including flotation, leaching of ore and intermediates, ion exchange, carbonyl refining and pyrometallurgical routes. A balance in the topics was achieved with both improvements in conventional processing techniques and new options for the future being considered.James Vaughanhttp://www.chemeng.uq.edu.au/vaughannoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908362959739425575.post-49543307223953554912012-12-13T12:15:51.132+00:002012-12-13T12:15:51.132+00:00Photos from the conference can now be viewed at ME...Photos from the conference can now be viewed at MEI Online or Facebook.Amanda Willshttp://www.min-eng.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908362959739425575.post-44306285955485887432012-12-10T00:22:45.655+00:002012-12-10T00:22:45.655+00:00This was a great conference, well worth the trip t...This was a great conference, well worth the trip to Cape Town.
