I had the pleasure to represented them for the Oil & Gas Industry, as a C.E.O for ECOTECHNOLOGY LTD. and introducing this product in PERENCO oilfields. Later British Petroleum used their ceramic hydrocyclones arrangements for separating until 150.000 BPD.in different areas. I have the pleasure to be in their first Off shore Techonolgy Conference O.T.C. 1997 in Houston, TX where finally the world knew about this marvelous 3 phases separator- equipment for the Oil & Gas Industry Connie Sanabria, now Connie Sanabria-Howell located in Washington DC 2019Connie Howellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00073080364129472895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908362959739425575.post-5086875954780313292018-08-25T13:23:56.769+01:002018-08-25T13:23:56.769+01:00Keep me informed of your cunning plan if it comes ...Keep me informed of your cunning plan if it comes to fruition!MEIhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14834780351452765156noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6908362959739425575.post-90102824311659279882018-08-25T12:35:32.321+01:002018-08-25T12:35:32.321+01:00Sorry Barry. (Known as the M Drum) Chris Kelsey of Kelsey Jigs had a go at it a few years later and couldn't get it to work either. I have a cunning plan, which might not work either but its an itch I need to scratch. I remember we worked on his idea to use rotating (high G forces) pinched sluices as a pre-treatment step for the MGS. I don't think it worked (as i left part way through) but it was interesting to be involved. It is great to see Treve improving on Richards work. All the devices out there have their purpose and the more we have the better. It is indeed good news to see Richard Mozley's legacy continuing.
I had the privilege of working for Richard at Hydraulic Tin, using Mozley Concentrators for fine tin recovery. What an exceptional person; a person who could see what was ailing testing of minerals for concentration in a small scale in a laboratory. The range of equipment s, the thought process that must have gone(with no simulation packages) and such a clear understanding of fundamentals(a to conceive and manufacture was a classic example of innovation and passion. I think he was basically a mining engineer,if I remember right. If right, it shows how mining should prompt mineral engineering.
For me, he was something extraordinary.
Treve's comments on alternate processes is very informative.
Rao,T.C.Rao,T.C.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11160713677908165404noreply@blogger.com
