Last night's Awards Dinner at Casa Piedra in Santiago was a very special occasion for me and Prof. R-H Yoon, and also for the young people who were presented with Young Authors' Awards for their presentations at the Congress. It was also a wonderful evening with some superb Chilean entertainment.

ReplyDeleteWonderful to see so many young authors from South African Research Institutions recognised for their excellent contributions at IMPC in Santiago last week. Three from the Centre for Minerals Research at the University of Cape Town - an excellent achievement: 1st left Lawrence Bbosa, 2nd right Margreth Tadie and 1st right Lucy Little. Keeping it in the family is Margreth's husband, Edson Charikinya 4th right from the University of Stellenbosch.
