| Gyllingvase Beach, Falmouth |
Next month two conferences run back to back in Falmouth.
Computational Modelling '11, sponsored by
DEM Solutions, will be immediately followed by
Physical Separation '11, sponsored by
International Mining and
Industrial Minerals, at the Falmouth Beach Resort Hotel overlooking Gyllyngvase Beach.
Visit the websites for these two conferences to view the current tiemtables, and to register online. For those wishing to exhibit, the exhibition booths will be set up prior to
Computational Modelling '11 and dismantled at the end of
Physical Separation '11, so if you register as an exhibitor for one conference, you may also leave literature for display at the other.

| Basset Mines, Camborne-Redruth |
Cornwall,
the “birthplace of modern mining”, is an appropriate place to hold
Physical Separation '11, as this was the first place in the world where physical separation methods were practiced on a large scale, and the programme will include a visit to the historic Camborne-Redruth copper and tin mining district, where ruins of 19th century ‘dressing floors’ can be explored.
